A unique ale, lightly hopped and easy drinking, but “dry-hopped” with pounds of whole vanilla beans to infuse the beer with flavor and provide an incredibly aromatic sensation.

02.18.05 Paler amber/gold with middling head. Vanilla dominates even the sample sized glass. Made for the masses, it’s light and quaffable but not that good.

Light gold color, vanilla nose. Light bodied Pilsner style ale, brewed with Vanilla beans. Strong flavor of vanilla and only slightly sweet. The vanilla flavor smoothes out the malt and hop balance. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. A very interesting beer, very well done. The vanilla adds, not detracts, from this beer. I would not want to drink this beer every day, but its very nice.

I had a sample of this unique beer at the brewery. If you love vanilla, you'll love this beer, but I thought it was a little too funny, which explains the lower Overall score. Aroma was pretty amazing because of the fresh vanilla beans used to make it. It also seemed to have hints of gram cracker! Had a light body. Probably something the women would like more than men.
