Mêmes caractéristiques que son aînée blonde mais cette belle ambrée, légère et digeste, est agréablement amère.

750 ml capped bottle bought at the brewery. Poured in the original Esquelbecq stemmed tulip glass a slight hazy mid-brown coloured BdG with a one finger beige foamy head that had a mid-sized retention and tons of micro bubbles. Low carbonation. Poor lacing. The aroma is roasted malts, great dark chocolate notes, sourish fruits. The flavour is sweety roasted malts, caramel, bready and a permanent sourish fruity sensation. The mouthfeel is crispy, light syrupy and hoppy bitter. This medium to full bodied BdG has a dry sweety and sourish finish. The sweety-sourish combination is interesting. None take and advantage. Overall a very nice BdG.

Reddish orange colour with yeast floating around, mediumsized beigeish head. Aroma is hops, yeast and barnyard. Flavour is sour fruits along with some caramellish notes. Gets quite nutty in the aftertaste.

Poured a hazy amber color with a small, white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of spices, citrus fruits, lemongrass, and tangerine. Taste of caramel malts, light spices, a dry earthiness, some citrus fruits, and light alcohol in the finish.

Bottle. Hazy orange, thick white head, and lots of fine floating sediment. Aroma is sweet, fruity, yeasty and spicey. The flavour is lightly malty and fruity, yeasty with some light hops in the finish. Medium bodied, highly carbonated foamy, but nice mouthfeel. A very good, easy drinking Bière de Garde.
