Porter as a beer style, originated in London in the 1700’s. A strong dark beer, it became the favoured drink of the working classes, hence the origin of the name. Our version is decidedly non-traditional due to the addition of fine Dutch cocoa in the brew kettle and Canterbury raspberries late in the fermentation.
