    Sampled on tap June 2005
This beer is a pale, hazy straw color and it is topped by a creamy white head. The aroma is dominated by clove at first, but I quickly am able to get notes of banana as well. There is perhaps a hint of spicy/ tart wheat in the nose as well. The taste is soft and fruity up front, it then moves to notes of banana and spicy clove. The finish is lightly tart, with a slight bite from the hops. This beer is soft and creamy, yet it has a sharp spiciness to it all at the same time. This is really quite nice. There is a nice wheat character that is a bit tart. This is really a quintessential example of a Bavarian Hefeweizen.
