Premiére marks the grand opening of The Bruery Provisions in Old Towne Orange. A barrel aged strong golden ale, its a great introduction to our new location. Spicy with flavors of honey, caramel, light tropical fruits and bourbon. A beer that will surely mature beautifully with age.

Sampled on 12/18/2010. This Belgian Strong Ale pours a very slightly hazy light orange gold color from a 750ml bottle. Medium sized white foamy head, with decent retention and nice lacing. The aroma is fruity and sweet, with a touch of bourbon, vanilla and wood. A medium bodied Belgian Strong Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet, touch of vanilla. The hops are herbal. Nice carbonation. Hints of bourbon and wood. Very smooth tasting. Hides the 10.4% alcohol very well. Nice mix of Belgian yeast and barrel aspects. Very nice sipping beers. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
