Style: Saison ABV: 5.5 Malts: acid, smoked, vienna, pilsner, cara-pils, wheat Hops: centennial, fuggles, tettnang IBU: 25.5 Our summer saison started as an experiment with some new yeast strains we were trying out. Through this experimentation we found what we feel is a superb saison yeast for a refreshing summer beer. We decided show case this yeast by leaving this saison completely unspiced. We used a variety of malts to add depth and body to this beer, but the majority of the flavor profile is derived from the yeast.

Definitely getting the wheat influence in here, but not really any of the smoked malt. Overall, even though it's gettin chilly (and was while we were drinking this) it's a very bright and vibrant, and enjoyable, brew. Light barnyard and lemon, wheat, aromatic, slightly hoppy. Dry finish.
