Style: Imperial Saison ABV: 8.2 Malts: Pilsner, Acid, Munich, Smoked, Vienna, Caramel Hops: Saaz, Tettnang IBU: 11.5 From Renoites for Renoites. This saison features a complex malt structure that will keep you analyzing whats going on with every drink. We went with a traditional spicing of coriander with our favorite saison yeast and kicked up the octane a bit to push it into what we consider to be a imperial saison. This is a dangerous bastard of a beer that will please your taste buds and take you to new worlds, all while wreaking havoc on your sense of reason and logic if you’re not careful.

I think I'm starting to come around and appreciate coriander in beer more than i used to...though i'll still say this was better for the first few ounces than it was by the end of a large glass. Fruity, rustic aroma, little smoke...a tiny bit more on the palate, adding some compexity to this otherwise heavy wit like beer. Nicely done - I'd get again.
