Pretty much a winter warmer or imperial brown with spices added. Not quite my style, but something decent to share on Christmas Eve. Ginger up front with some heavy caramel malts, etc. Has a little heat to it from the ginger, but very mild. Darker brown semi-cloudy appearance. Has some sweetness. Good...but not great.

Deep, dark brown black colored beer with a small sudsy textured beige-brown colored head. The hang time on the head is short lived. A persistent cap is left. Ginger light in the nose. Stronger in the tasting with molasses syrupy on the tongue. Drinkable.

Comes out of tap rich, warm coffee brown with a thin but respectable light tan head that leaves good lacing. Roast malt aroma has notes of ginger and molasses. Flavor is like liquid gingerbread, toasty and spicy with a hint of molasses. Firm texture has a subtle but lasting tingle. One turtleneck to put inside you.
