i like to drink a smooth bitter in a pub drawn from a pump as a nice gentle drink, would never get drunk on it..couldnt afford it! tennents super on the other hand, gives me a nice kick with only 2 500ml cans nice flavour.alager to drink at home.and no driving after!

It is sickly and syrupy. It tastes sweet and sickly. The flavour is sweet and sickly. Did I mention it was sweet and sickly. It is the beer of choice for Scottish alcoholics I'm told. It has no graces.

Comes in a purple can and is referred to in its native land as " Purple court appearance". This is total crap that is made purely for the use of alcoholics. Possibly the world worst beer

Tastes super strong but if you like to giver, f--kin eh!. Okay, drunk ramblings aside, this is a terrible beer. A nice can but thats everythings that goods. Grody taste and very hoppy/basically British malt liquor.

Sampled last summer. After spending most of the week on tennents lager, we upgraded to the stong lager just to see how it was. It was definitely stronger but just as bad. See review of regular lager.

light amber colour, no head, peach, strong alcohol nose, syrupy, very sweet, aggressive alcohol kick - great for alcoholics !

served straight from the can hence the high appearance mark, it is, after all, an attractive can. this lager offers nothing to the drinker other than assisting them to black-out. do not attempt to drink this lager for a flavour of scottish lager - this is jakey juice.

Golden color, enough thick white foam, aroma malty-sweet-alcoholic, not very attractive. As regards flavor - booming sweet and spicy taste at first, but later more malty and slightly yeasty bitter, plus really intense alcoholic taste. In mug looks quite attractive, but nothing more. Really, I agree, that it's brewed to become drunk.
