Pretty smooth bear that has a bit of a wheat taste. The malt taste is a little watered down but still noticeable. Not quite as good as some of the other Mexican beers but still very drinkable.

Known in my circles as the really cheap beer to buy when climbing in Red Rocks. Does the job, feels good on torn apart climbing hands and tastes good to famished mouths, but only if it is litterally the only beer to buy or budgets are really tight. Like a fresh not sunlight ruined Corona.

Pretty average pale yellowish appearance, not much head, very thin layer. Aromas are fairly tame, just wheats and light malts that I can get. Same with the flavour, not much to go by. It's got the malts of course, and maybe some grains and corn sweetness. Preferred the Dos Equis and Sol from the same mixer pack. Last bottle down, see ya.

pours clear golden yellow with a short lived white head that leaves no lacing. The aroma is of wet hay and cardboard with some corny malt. The taste is not far from the aroma, pretty basic but lacks the skunk. The mouthfeel is thin and watery with decent carbonation.

Faint yellow pour with a large amount of carbonation. Strong metallic taste with grainy finish. Really bad beer, if you want to call it beer. Will definitely avoid in the future.

Went to a July 4th daytime party. The irony was that there was a Mexican beer selection (Sol, Tecate, and Dos XX's). Already had tried Sol and the regular Dos XX, so figure I would sample Tecate and Dos XX Amber for the first time. Tecate was better than I expected. Mouthfeel fairly smooth for swill, and just below average all-around the board. I wouldn't see myself buying it, but ok enough to not turn down.

Very pale yellow. Really not much aroma to speak of and not much taste either. Not even tasting the slight skunk mentioned in so many other reviews of this beer. Pretty much the Mexican version of Budweiser.

I'm not good with words, or with your rating criteria. Beer is for drinking. I don't get overly concerned with the aroma or look of a beer, but on a hot summer day, nothing beats a cold Tecate.

A cloudy yellow colored beer with a big frothy textured off white head. Settles after a short time into a light film, a thin ringlet and light dusting atop the body. Light grainy nose. Pretty straight up and simple. Watery malt is the best way to describe the body, and believe it or not this is the worse feature of this beer. It’s grainy. Not much hops. But no where as offensive as say, Budweiser.

Aroms is fairly strong and malty, but not appealing. Color is a typical clear straw yellow with a thin white head that dissipates slowly. Flavor is malty and on the watery side, rather typical of an industrial brew. Texture is fairly fizzy and leaves a decent tingle - tbis beer's best point. An OK party beer, but I have had better.
