This beer pours an orange gold color from a growler. Small sized head. Aroma is citrusy and grapefruity, a touch perfumey and floral. A medium bodied IPA. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are grapefruit, grapefruit rind, floral and piney. Nice balance. Crisp and sharp. Interesting IPA. It straddles the line between an English IPA and a West Coast Pacific Northwest IPA style. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

This pours a hazy amber with big apricot hops and a touch of pine in the aroma. Great fruity smell. It’s a touch light in the body, but that could be because it was gravity dispensed on cask. It’d benefit from a hand pump or forced carbonation to build up the body. I’ve been asking Sweetwater to make one of these things since the ABV law changed here and they’ve finally obliged.
