We scraped all the hash out of the Yakima hop pelletizers we could get our sticky fingers on to concoct the dankest double IPA out there. The pure hop lupulin, aka “hash” (the resiny stuff), meshes seamlessly with the 2-row, pilsner and wheat malts, allowing it to deliver a pungent punch to the palate. Specs: Available year round in 6-packs of 12 oz bottles, 1/2 bbl kegs and 1/6 torpedo kegs. Malt bill: 2-row, Pilsner, Wheat Hops: Centennial and hash “blend” Yeast: House ABV: 7.8% IBUs:100

Comes out of the growler clear solar yellow with a thick, frothy, eggshell head. Strong, hoppy, resiny, fruity aroma reaches your snout from up to half a meter away. Boldly hoppy has a bitter, slightly tinny underpinning, as well as notes of grapefruit, Mandarin orange, and pear. Firm texture is smooth and leaves a subtle but lasting fizz. Hop for the hash!

7.8% a little weak for a "Double IPA"...but I must say...this is one of the hoppiest that I've had in this style..especially for under 8%. 100 IBUs about explains it. Appearance is thin, but there is not much malt in this. My buddy brought this from GA, so I only got to try a single...but this is one that I'll be on the lookout for!
