COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION Slide into Summer and step off the grid by Goin’ Coastal with this pineapple laced IPA. The bright aromas of the five citrus hop additions are accentuated by the tropical fruit of the pineapple - and just like those three day weekends, its finish is quick.

Pours clear saffron with a thick and frothy eggshell head. Aroma presents strong hoppy and pineapple notes - and I LOVE pineapple! Hop character is woodier and a little bitter in the flavor, while pineapple balances with fruity sweetness and raw malt provides a nice underpinning. Body and fizz are fair, while finish delivers hops and a little pineapple. Go coastal!

I was hoping for a little more from this. Then remembered that Sweetwater's regular IPA is a bit below average for the style...which pretty much sums this up. Basically the same beer with a bit of pineapple juice added....mild though. Still seems sort of macro brew.

I picked this beer up from Kroger in Salem, VA. This beer wasn't bad but it wasn't nearly as good as Ballast Point's Pineapple Sculpin. For the same money, I'd take that every time. This beer was good but the pineapple was just a tad subtle. not bad, just not as good.
