500 ml bottle, bought at Pivni Galerie, Prague. Typical dunkel reddish brown colour, large lasting off-white/beige head. Moderate malty aroma, notes of caramel and leather, maybe some dark fruits too. Low carbonation, a bit thin mouthfeel, malty sweet with notes of molasses, minimal bitterness. Nice enough to drink, but I’d really like some more hops to balance the sweetness. Must be another beer for the target group "convalescents and nursing mothers".

Son in law brought this home. Nice dark beer, good colored foam head. Strong taste, not too sweet, nice bitter. Wonder of it need more cooling? Beer to remember and drink again.

500 ml bottle. Poured in the original Svijany beer mug a clear burgundy-brown coloured Pivo with a generous three fingers tan creamy foamy head that had a very long retention. Mid-sized carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is toasted malts, dark bitter chocolate, notes of dark fruits, raisins. The flavour is toasted malts, dark fruits, raisins, flowery, violet and ... vegetables (!), leek. The mouthfeel is very smooth and a quite watery. This light to medium bodied Pivo has a dry flowery finish. A pleasant Tmavy from the Czech region of Liberec in North Bohemia.

Bottled. Rubyish amber colour with mediumsized beige head. Aroma is mildly roasted malts, some slight chocolate as well as raisins. Flavour is quite much the same with underlying tones of mild fruityness and grassy hops.
