    Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4

My parents picked up one of each of the brewery's offerings on a recent trip--this is my first from Sun Valley. With no style description on the bottle, I had no idea what to expect. Pours a muddy gold with a white head. Aroma is a little off--some bread and sweet malt, very little in the way of hops. Taste is a little bitter but also has a weird flavor (perhaps the bread again?). I was surprised to find this is an IPA--not good and even worse stylistically speaking. Hopefully their other beers will be better.

NorCal tasting Jan 07 - Third of the 4 Sun Valley beers that were brought back by one of the tasters. The aroma on the beer had some oxidation on it, wet cardboard and the like, so it was rather off-putting for me. Appearance was really light for an IPA, golden in color with a white head. The flavor was really metallic. Reminded me and another taster of having blood in your mouth, that sort of iron metallic taste. Probably my least favorite beer so far from Sun Valley.
