October 2015: 330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.8%. Crystal clear pale golden colour, moderate to low white head. Moderate aroma of floral and herbal hops. The flavour is herbal, medium dry and quite crisp, with distinct bittering hops in the aftertaste. Refreshing. Fair enough.

Rated April 2014. My impression hasn't changed. 50cl green bottle pours with a clear gold body that supports a white head. The aroma offers up corn and lime and a light floral hop note. The taste starts with a crisp hop bitterness coming from lemon to lime citrus and floral hops. As the hop bitterness fades toward the finish I’m left with a mild candied floral soapiness that distracts from the experience

Pours clear solar yellow with a fairly thick eggshell head. Crisp and malty aroma has more than a hint of pear. Malty flavor is crisp and refreshing, a little fruity, nice after a steamy day. Mouthfeel has average body and not much fizz. Typical, but enjoyable.

Poured a clear bright golden color, medium sized head, light lacing decent retention tight bubbles, excellent carbonation. Aroma had a nice malty slightly grassy, with just a hint of some European hoppiness. Taste had a white grape fruitiness with some grains, very slight bitterness of hops in back. Crisp clean and refreshing mouthfeel that finishes with a slight hop at the end. Very pleasing.

500 ml bottle. Poured in a Kölsch stange a clear straw yellow colored Kölsch with a two fingers white foamy head, with tons of micro bubbles, that had a very long retention. Active carbonation. Some lacing. The aroma is faint grainy malts, hay and a point of sourness. The flavour is sweety malts, moderate fruity, peaches and spicy at the end od the sip. The mouthfeel is crispy and fizzy. This light bodied Kölsch has a dry spicy finish. An enjoyable and refreshing Kölsch from the other side of the Rhine.

After settling, it pours a golden color with very thin white head and some lace. An aroma of tart malts, light hops, GD apples, some pear, and mild spices. The mouthfeel is smooth and rich. Flavors of tart malts, light hops, apples, pear, and a peppery feel. Tasty, good summer brew.

Aromas and flavors of honey and hay with a touch of bread and earth. Body is average, mouthfeel is a little on the watery side. Overall a very standard kolsch.

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Golden colour with mediumsized fluffy head. Aroma is quite much bready malts, some saltwatery notes, some slight fruity and earthy notes as well. Flavour is quite much the same with rather big focus on the maltyness. Gets some slight grainy notes as it warms up. Not a that solid Kölsch.

Bottle. Pale straw colour with a large white head. Malty, fruity and a touch of pine in the aroma. Malty grainy taste with a chemical or perfumed edge. Light bodied with a watery finish. Not the best.
