330 ml bottle as 2007 / SR N°2, 6.0 % ABV. Poured a hazy old copper brown colored ale with a one finger slight beige creamy foamy head, with tons of micro bubbles, that had a very long retention. Mid-sized carbonation. Great lacing. The aroma is fruity, papaya, grapefruit, mandarin, citrus, spicy, peppery and licorice, vinous notes. The flavour is rich, spicy, peppery, chilli, cloves, gingerbread, molasses, fruity, berries, peaches, a touch of caramel. The aftertaste is overwhelmed by a lingering hoppy bitterness. This medium to full bodied ale has a long fruity and slight bitter finish. The nose and the palate are receiving completely different sensations. A very tasting, refreshing and ... interesting ale.

Bottle: Poured a hazy deep amber color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of deep caramel malt with more sweetness then anticipated and light candi sugar notes. Taste is also a nice enough mix between some medium sweet caramel malt with light notes of toffee and a light bready yeast note at the end. Body is quite full with good carbonation and minimal filtration. Well done though not the most complex beer from this brewer and maybe a tad too sweet for its’ own good.

Hazy nutbrown/orange colour, mediumsized white head. Barnyard, wheat and malts in aroma. Flavour is wheat and malts with very unpleasant sweetness. Refreshing though, but still boring beer.

33 cl bottle, courtesy of gunnfryd, who supplied it to our tasting. The ABV was 5.0%. Served at room temperature, which was too warm, and caused the beer to gush out of the bottle when opening. Reddish brown colour, decent head. Very nice aroma: oak, spices, leather, malts, fortified wine. Moderately spicy and malty flavour. Not bad!

Pours out in a gigantic cotton-like foam. The colour is light orange. Dense, fruity and yeasty aroma of peaches, watermelon, spices and nuts. Sweet malty aftertaste of dried apricot, yeast, melon and banana. Dense and smooth mouthfeel. Long yeasty and spicy aftertaste.
