This is first and foremost a classic, English IPA. This style is recognized for a flavouring more balanced between hops and malt as opposed to the more hop-forward IPAs of the Pacific Northwest. This is also reflected by the low hop aroma. The light hop flavouring comes from the traditional English hops Fuggles and UK Goldings. This light gold colored beer has a moderate citrus flavor, low fruitiness and a dry finish. Key hops: Columbus, Amarillo, Cascade, Fuggles, UK Goldings

Bomber from Value On. My first from this brewery. Orange pour, creamy ivory head. Piney aroma, but no floral or citrus notes. Bitter flavour, almost tart. Medium-bodied mouthfeel. Dry finish. For sure a British IPA rather than a NW IPA. Still, liked it well enough.
