Pours barely translucent ruby-coffee brown with a fairly thick tan head. Aroma has notes of roast malt and caramel, not strong but tempting. Flavor starts with roast malt and adds cherry, caramel, molasses, and subtle chocolate and coffee tones as you go along. Even for such a high ABV, it doesn’t have much of an alcohol nip. Mouthfeel is firm and lively, and tingle is not strong but persists. A devil of a quad!
