This (203) India Pale Ale is a light amber color, coolly hopped aroma, a hint of citrus and a zestful finish. Our flagship IPA is totally handmade and so local that, if you close your eyes, you can almost taste the sea of our shoreline community. First bottled July 19, 2012.

Born on date of Aug 13 2014 this one is pretty fresh. Nose is all cascade, the only hop in the brew I believe, grapefruit and floral notes abound with the malt givng a hint of sweetness. Medium amber orange body that is topped (with a somewhat vigorous pour) with a decent whtie head that has a long lsting skim coat and very nice lace. Mouth is medium light, spot on for an IPA with some slickness and spot on carbonation. Not super hoppy but very well balanced, a hint of sweet biscut at the start with a bit of grapefruit followed by very nice bitterness that is balanced with the touch of sweet. Finishes slightly wet and quite clean. Lets hear it for the local guys and gals making a lovely fresh beer availble here. The have an (860) IPA I need to try, they say its a bit heavier. (They are naming their brew lines after local area codes/) Oh...the alcohol is slightly warming but well masked.
