When I picked this up I thought it was just Stone, not realizing it was a blend of three breweries. Spices are very prevalent in the aroma, especially the juniper berries and sage. Very nice frothy head leaving lots of lace on the glass. Dark brown body. Flavor is amazing!! While juniper berries typically overwhelm the flavor of any beer they’re in this one is very nice. I guess they’re mellowed out with the savory flavors in the sage and nuts. Aftertaste and palate has a lingering of the junipers. While I’m sure all three beers by themselves are good, the blend of all three is really awesome.
