Single can from the LCBO. Pours a pale golden colour with a bubbly white head that dissipates quickly, leaving no sticky lace. Aromas of grain, turns into corn, then with some yeast to end up with some grassy hops. Slightly sweet malt taste with hints of apples and cardboard that is mildly wet from urine. Yep, this brew is not really good and will not be buying this again.

Stopped by my local hole-in-the-wall mom'n'pop liquor/beer store today, in my rather casual quest to track down a few bottles of the Stone Verticle Epic 04.04.04. And while I struck out there, I did restock my fridge with a sixer of Stone IPA, two bombers from the Coronado Brewing Company, and an obscure looking 330mL brown bottle with the weird orange foil and orange bottle cap..., "Product Of Russia", of all places.
Nothing special to look at (what with the head of foam quickly gone, and rather marginal/incidental lacing), and the aroma didn't really wow me either -- reminded me of corn chowder..., and I hate corn chowder....
But I do have to admit that the flavor of this wasn't bad -- no better nor worse than so many other average and boring Lagers from all corners of the world. A little sweet and cloying in the backend, almost to distraction, which doesn't help the drinability either, in my book.
Overall, I've certianly had worse (from Russia, and elsewhere), but I've certianly had better too (again, from Russia, and elsewhere). A Russian sub-par Lager that would probably be enjoyable to the Natural Light/Schlitz/Busch lovers around these parts....

Medium light gold color. Small head. Aroma is malty, sweet and cornish. A medium bodied pale lager. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are slightly spicy. Kind of watery and flat tasting (dead carbonation) Hints of butterscotch. Way too sweet. Kind of bland and watery. On the plus side it has no signs of skunkyness. There is also a touch of spiciness to the hops. Mouthfeel is thin. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

This one is quite new, the brewery started to produce it in 2000. I'd say this beer is the best of this brewery, it's bitter enough, smooth and crisp.
