The beer pours a slightly hazed metallic gols colour with a thin white head. The aroma is bready malt, grains, earthy hops, and yeast. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is grains, blue cheese, and a mild bitter finish. The blue cheese notes may also explain the tanginess in the Stockyard Light!
