Dark dark brown with a thick creamy cap some chunkies on the bottom. Not the aroma I was expecting, I'm kind of taken back by it. Big nose full of soap with an up front sour coffee and that about it. Taste is better thankfully! Coffee, with wheat and yeast, hints of spice, big banana in the finish. Taste like a mix of a stout and a hefe. Sweetness builds the more you drink. Creamy and medium bodied. Digging the sweet banana in this beer. Is that chocolate I taste? Maybe? Good brew nothing epic.

I can recognize this is a well put together brew, but was a little turned off because it was more Belgian strong than Saison. Very dry, nutty, with dark fruit and spices. Ara and favors clashed a little but it's of good quality.

Sampled this at the Malt House during Craft Beer Week: Pours a dark brownish black. Nice sized tan fluffhead. Aroma is sweet, caramel, nutty wood and smoke. Taste is creamy, semi sweet, but hops noticeable. Awesome beer.

Comes out of the bottle an opaque hazelnut brown with a fairly thick pale tan head. Aroma is malty with nutty, caramel and clove undertones. Malty flavor has a firm nutty tone plus strong hints of burnt caramel and cloves. Texture is smooth with a subtle fizz that stays long after the beer has gone down the proverbial hatch.
