In the words of head brewer Brandon Greenwood: "A Ballantine-esque IPA, pretty hoppy, medium-bodied with a nice kick to it. The finished product in the bottle comes in at 8.2% ABV. We brewed it with mostly 2-row malt and specialty malts and added a little corn syrup, a ratio of roughly 80-20 percent. It has 50 IBUs and was hopped with pellets in the kettle, two West Coast whole leaf hop varieties in the fermenter and then dry-hopped during the aging period with pellets again. I'm very pleased with it for what it is and think it will stand up nicely against most Double IPAs out there.

Pours with an amber body topped by a thin head with some lacing. It’s slightly sweet yet bitter and flowery with a slight medicinal not and a touch of fruit. Medium bodied, smooth and a touch dry.

    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

Poured an amber color with a medium sized, off white head that left sticky lacing on the glass. Aroma of sticky pine sap, perfume, and citrus. Taste of toasted malts, some caramel, some pine, lots of citrus, most notably grapefruit, but some tart lime as well. Very short finish, unfortunately. It showed alot of potential upfront, but I was hoping it had more of an aftertaste.
