Draws murky brown - no head - no lacing... a disappointment. Aroma is spicy with banana and licorice... flavor matches with a nice maltiness. Slightly flat on the pallette with no discernable interest.

Sampled at GABF on 9/18/2010. This dunkel pours a light gold color from the tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, with a touch of banana and clove. A medium bodied dunkel. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are herbal. Nice fairly sweet banana and clove flavor. Clean and crisp. Lively carbonation. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Very murky dark amber pour with little head and a thick palate. Strong nose of fruit, spice and licorice. Good solid flavors of fruit and dark wheat malts. MUSIC: 'Dark Matter' by Andrew Bird, and 'Dark Matter' by Old Time Relijun

Poured extremely cloudy (even for a Bavarian wheat) and with no head nor lace, nice deep brown, though. Smelled of clove, banana, vanilla and chocolate, like a small dessert. Taste delivered on the aroma's promises, no bubble gum, luckily. Could use more carbonation and more time to settle out, but the flavor is spot on.
