This limited release Belgian Quad has been aged in Kentucky bourbon barrels for a year, and in those 12 months the Dragon has emerged to become a beautiful beast. 12 Dragons is a massive mouthful of malty goodness balanced by bourbon warming and playful spice: perfect for cooler weather or late evenings. Fire-brewed for bold flavors that include caramelized sugar, toffee, and complex fruit flavors of raisins, dates, and figs. Kentucky bourbon barrel aging adds notes of vanilla, oak, and toasted caramel to this Belgian style ale, creating a velvety smooth, rich, and complex treat for beer lovers. Mahogany in color, and semi-dry to sweet, this is a strong beer!

    Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 10 | Mouthfeel: 10 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9

Pours opaque coffee with a thick tan head. Aroma presents caramel, bourbon, molasses, roast malt, hints of chocolate and cinnamon and wood. Flavor yields decadent bourbon, chocolate, molasses, caramel, cinnamon, a woody hint. Texture provides heavy body and lively fizz. Drag-on a can off the shelf.
