500 ml capped bottle bought at the brewery. Poured in the original old Spezial Seidla an opaque dark amber-chesnut coloured Dunkel Weizen with a two fingers beige dense and fine creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Sustained carbonation. Some lacing. The aroma is wheat roasted malts, fruity cooked bananas, spicy, cloves and a very noticeable smoke presence. The flavour is wheat malts, yeast, rich cloves and fruity, bananas, lemon. The mouthfeel is light crispy,quite thin and even watery. This medium bodied Dunkel Weizen has a long fruity and spicy finish. If the nose easy dedected the smoke, there is no smoke on the palate. Overall a pleasant Dunkel Weizen.

Foggy bronze colour with a big white head. Simplistic banana and clove aroma. Flavour starts of banana but subtle smokey and peaty notes appears. Interesting finish of wheat and smoked wood in the aftertaste. More smoke, please.

Bottled. Pale brown colour, huge white creamy head. Sweet caramellish aroma with toffeeish and malty hints. Wheaty and malty flavour with weak toffeeish hints. Smooth palate, but where is the smoke?

cloudy bronze-orange colour with a fine little foam, subtle smokey aroma with some yeast, corn and banana, light-bodied and watery, dry short wheaty finish - not terrible
