When the sun hangs high overhead and the stars don’t glimmer until well into the evening, there’s nothing better than grabbing another beer. We specially crafted Farmer’s Tan to be the beer you enjoy on those long summer days. At 4.6% abv, it’s one of our lightest, with a smooth body and easy finish. We carefully limited the ingredients to two types of hops and two types of malts for a perfectly balanced, “sessional” India Pale Ale. We’ve got the beer covered. It’s up to you to keep the sunscreen on.

Another in the "Pick Your Own 6-Pack Sampler" from the local superstore. Since we're on the verge of some hot weather, thought it was time to try lighter, lower abv beers. This is the first of them. Pours a cloudy yellow/amber color with a fluffy white head. Citrus and straw bales on the nose. Citrus and straw (malt) lead a balance flavor profile. Light, crisp and smooth. A good summer beer.

Pours cloudy pale yellow body with medium foamy head. Fair retention and lacing. Aroma is mild citrusy hops, it is rather faint.Citrus and malty taste up front followed by moderate grassy hop. A fair session IPA but there are better ones available.

Just getting into the whole Session IPA thing...especially with this FL summer heat. Sampled a bit of the Founders one, and maybe another, but this stands out to me. At first I thought a little weak, which in body it is on the thin side...but kind of bold in flavor for the density. Good citrus flavors, not too much malt though that's expected for this strength. Balanced quite well with a quality crisp feel. $10 per 6 is a little pricey for under 5%, but it's good summer beer to grab here and there.
