I haven't had their regular pilsner yet, so can't really compare. This style is hit or miss for me. This beer falls right about in the middle. Enjoyable and drinkable, but I still prefer something slightly bolder. Decent balance with good bitter hops at the end. Not a bad spring or summer seasonal, but that's about as far as it goes.

Bottled@chriso pre-gbbf shindig 2012. Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is maize, fruits, caramel, some earth and mild floral notes. Flavour is maize, grains, some slight grass and mild earthyness. Rather boring.

Pours a clear solar yellow with a rather thick and somewhat persistent white head. Crisp, malty aroma has a sweet citrus overtone and a grassy hint. Flavor has malty, fruity and grassy notes, very refreshing. Perfect for a hot day. Smooth texture has good body, though not a whole lot of fizz.

Nice pils from Sam: Light to medium straw yellow pour, white head, decent lacing. Straight up aroma for a Pils - Noble-like hopped, clean malts, lightly sweet. Good clean Pils flavor also: Lightly sweet maltiness, a touch of grass and lemongrass, Near-Noble hops, earthy, clean. Good summer beer.

Of course Cracker's song "Eurotrash Girl" is required to play through my mind the whole time I'm drinking this. Straw yellow pour with a thin white cap and good lacing. Straightforward grass malt and spicy noble hops. Well crafted pils from Southern Tier.

A bright golden colored beer with a small frothy textured white head that dissapates fairly quickly. Settles into a thin ringlet. Light nose grass and bready malt. Same profile more prodominate in the tasting. Light, well carbonated and refreshing. In that refreshing profile I enjoyed.
