COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION Heavy body, strong cocoa, malt/chocolate forward. Midnight. Mild ale, chocolate and extra-dark crystal malts, flaked oats and roast barley. Topaz hops. Guatemalan cacao nibs, Scottish ale yeast.

I picked this beer up from Eli's Provisions in Roanoke, VA. I split this with my awesome neighbor Joey. This was a nice chocolate stout. The only reason it got a 7 for flavor and not an 8 is because the flavor tracked the aroma which was far more booze than cocoa. Overall, this was really good and I think it would do outstanding with a year's worth of age - just came in a little hot. The color and mouthfeel were spot on. I'll get a bottle of this and put it away.
