Fresh off the tap at Smoky Mountain in Knoxville. Medium amber color with medium head and nice lacing throughout. Very well balanced and drinkable - not too over the top. Excellent introductory IPA for the new-comer and a good, solid performer for the afficiando as well. Great beer.

On tap @ Smoky Mountain Brewery - Knoxville. Pours a almost clear amber with a nice tight head and very good lacing. Good carbonation. Aromas of grapefruit and slight pine hops very well balanced with a sweet maltiness. Taste is smooth, clean and balanced with the hops upfront then a backbone of slightly sweet malts. Good Pale Ale especially for a local one - probably the best beer I've had from Smoky Mountain Brewery.
