On tap at Sly Fox fest. Clear orange with a nice tean head. Nice hop aroma and nice flavor. Clean tasting. Nice beer. Well balanced.

After trying the Simcoe, I just had to try this one too. While not as tasty as the Simcoe, this is still one helluva beer. Poured a dark amber, with a finger of sticky foam with great retention, and adequate lacing. Aroma is sweet and piney, with a bit of a nutty aroma as well. Flavor starts off with a great malt sweetness, with a nutty flavor, and lots of caramel. Finishes with a fair amount of bitterness, and some great hop flavors. Piney and a bit earthy, the Target hops work wonderfully in this brew. Having this back to back with the Simcoe really goes to show you how much different strains of hops can affect the flavor of a beer.

Growler... Poured a dark amber color with a small white head and a little lacing on the glass. Subdued hoppy pine aroma. Taste of grassy hops, light citrus, and bitterness as well. Probably the most subdued hop taste out of the ones I have had of the anniversary IPA project, yet still nice.
