This English-style pale ale captured a silver medal at the 1998 Great American Beer Festival in Denver and still tames the thirsty palate. Made with a blend of flaked barley, a variety of malts and a hop bill that includes Northern Brewer, Fuggles, and Liberty, Urban Wilderness tastes smooth and supremely balanced.

a well balanced and fairly assertive flavor profile. this was one of the better pales, if not the best, at Canfest. liberally hopped but still balanced. nice beer.

This beer pours a medium clear copper. It has a tea-like malt aroma with light herbal hops. The tea-like malt returns in the flavor. It's really not bad, but it's not great either.
