Sleeman Silver Creek Lager is brewed in our copper kettles for a traditional pilsner style. We gave it extra body to ensure you would enjoy extra smoothness. Tasting Notes: Sleeman Silver Creek Lager has a golden colour with an ample white foam collar. A noble hop character is prominent, along with balanced malt sweetness. Overall, this pilsner style has a very clean finish.

Thanks to Chopz for the housewarming party leftover brews. Pours a small foamy white head and has a clear straw coloured appearance. Aromas are grainy and malty. Flavours are also mostly grainy, some malts and grassy hops. Not much else going on really. It's still an easy one to drink and not offensive in the least just missing a little something.

The beer pours a translucent medium gold colour with a thin white head that disappears immediately. The aroma is very grainy with hints of phenol and metal. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is grass, some acidic notes, and just plain bad. -

Clear yellow color with no foam left after served. Aroma is weaker barley. Taste is bittersweet with little caramel, little hop. Aftertaste is short, bittersweet. (Montreal 201210)

Bottle: Been trying to avoid this one but buddy brings some over for the CFL game. Pours a clear pale gold, small fast vanishing cap, heavy carbonation poor lacing. Very faint odor of stale cereals and wet cardboard. Taste is bland, more of a watery stale mealy taste rather than fresh sweet malt, hops are non existant, fast clean uneventful finish. I may have gotten a stale dated bottle but frankly I can’t find the interest to get another for a re-taste.

I saw this at the beer store the other day and just had to try it. Never again. I look at the ratings and I wonder if this beer has changed because they start out decent and get worse. This beer is very pale with a weakly sour vegetable aroma and slightly sweet metallic flavour. Not for me.

Smells like pure crap, the power stink coming from this bottle is awful its smells like fermenting skunk. Standard boring pale lager look, gold body, noisy white cap that reduced to a glob of flem floating in my glass. The power stench has now faded to just a horrid concoction of dark malts, corn, and skunky hops reminds me of Euro lagers. Taste is also reminiscent of the dreaded Euro lager, corn, darker malts, skunky hops, with a sweet metallic finish and this all somehow tastes fake. Mouth fell was crisp and dry so it has that going for it. Worst Sleeman’s by far!!!

One of four selections in the Sleeman Selections 12 pack, $19.99CAN / 12 bottles. Comes in the Sleeman signature clear bottle, green and silver neck label. Color is pale yellow, vigoroous pour gave an inch of white foam. Lots of carbonation keeps the head around and leaves some thin lace. Smell of wet grass with some sweet corn thrown in. Just a touch of "Sleeman clear bottle skunk" hiding in the background. Macro lager taste, corn, grainy, and alcohol come through. Overall very plain and average.

This is some sick shit folks. Don't ever by this. At one time while drinking this beer I had to carefully check the bottle for pine needles. Although I couldn't find any I am still convinced that they managed to flavor this beer using pine needles. And if anyone has ever eaten pine needles before they know that it isnt a great taste.

Ughh, this beer was horrible. This just might be the worst thing Sleeman's makes, even worse than the "Clear". The taste is that sweet brown-sugar taste one gets w/ a high-gravity malt liquor.
