Oct. 2017: 355 ml can, as SKA The True Blonde, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5%. Very pale yellow colour, moderate white head. Fairly strong and sweetish fruity and grassy aroma, notes of artificial candy. The flavour has also some sweetness, but not as much as the aroma made med fear. Crisp with decent hops, but unfortunately again with hints of artificial candy. Overall disappointing, this brewery can do better.

On clearance at Total Wine & More for $5/6-pack. Blondes are hit or miss for me, but came across a few good ones this spring so have been trying as many as I can. This is borderline, leans towards a miss. Found it drinkable and refreshing though. Flavor is mild and a little weak. Could use some more hops. Worth it for under a buck a beer, but wouldn't get it again.

eh. i hate to say it but exactly what i'd expect from an average blonde ale. nothing that stands out. decent balance with some hay and sweet malt with a touch of bitterness, but lite and simple. dig the can, and the name.

It pours a light golden with thin white head and light lacing. An aroma of sour malts, light hops, and mild spice. The mouthfeel is smooth and fairly rich. Flavor of dry and sour malts, light hops, some lemon, tart, and light spices. Good, although nothing impressive.

This brew pours a clear gold color with a nice sized white foamy head that left only a sparse lace. The aroma is fruit and honey sweet with a little floral from the hops. The flavor is malt and honey with some mild hop spice. The mouthfeel is medium to full. Finish is crisp and slightly dry.

Aroma of earth with a touch of fruit, at first anyway. Golden body, thin head and not much lace. Mouthfeel was on the thin side but o.k. Flavor didnt have much except a malty, earthy finish. o.k. beer at best.

On draft at Flagstaff Brewing, where the selections were somewhat underpar from the norm. The pour was bright golden with a small white head. The aroma was grainy with light fruity elements. The flavor followed, not much to dig here, although it was fairly easy to drink.

Light orange gold color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is fruity and sweet, a little floral. A light to medium bodied blond ale. Malts are fruity and sweet. Lots of honey flavors. Hops are slightly spicy and for a blonde ale it is fairly aggressively hopped. It is light flavored and refreshing, It would be a decent choice for a beer on a hot summer day. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Poured a light clear golden color, with a small head with big bubbles that mostly dissipated quickly. Has a honey aroma with floral hints. The initial taste was of honey with some citrous on the side. I normally expect a blonde ale to be pretty bland, but this had more flavor than most.
