Maagt van Gottem, the Virgin of Gottem, born last year... in the wake of extrem luppulatura already many breweries out (especially in the States) , Pict on the advice of Chris Pollard (Podge), introduces in his Maagt cone Bristish hops, Kent Golding. The result you can imagine - a big hop aroma in a beer balanced between sweet malt and a pleasant citrus sensation.

Somewhat hazy golden yellow, hop bells floating in the bottle. Gusher. White lacing foam head. Hoppy aroma and bitter taste. Nice gift from Tinus. (Velp 201604)

330 ml bottle. Poured an unfiltered hazy copper brown colored ale with a two fingers slight beige creamy foamy head that had a very long retention. Many sediments. Active carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is floral hops, flowery, fruity, citrus and a solid alcohol sensation. The flavour is sweety grainy malts and a nicely floral hoppy invasion. The mouthfeel is slight crispy and dominated by the hoppy bitterness. This medium bodied ale has a long hoppy bitter finish. An ale for those hops lovers ! Please take care that a natural hopcone is added in each bottle !! A nearly unique fact ?
