Sinebrychoff kehittää kotimaista olutkulttuuria esittelemällä vuosittain uuden suomalaisen Nikolai-premiumoluen, joka on myynnissä rajoitetun ajan. Sarjan ensimmäinen on Nikolai Vuosiolut 2011. Se on maukas ja aromaattinen lager, jonka täyteläistä maltaisuutta tasapainottaa baijerilaisen jalohumalan, Hallertau Hersbruckerin, hienostunut, mausteinen aromi. Oluen valmistuksessa on ohramaltaan lisäksi käytetty erikoismaltaita, jotka tuovat makuun toffeemaisuutta ja karamellimaisuutta.

Canned (from K Citymarket, Vaasa). Copper colour with mediumsized white fluffy head. Aroma is mild bready malts, some slight starch as well as mild wooden notes. Flavour is sweet malts, some mild maize, starch and mild wooden notes. Mild bitterness in finish. Watery palate.
