Following an anarchic tasting session at our Leyton brewery, comes Blindside, a super-juicy 5.9% DDH lager brewed collaboration with Manchester Punk Festival and legendary UK ska punk band Lightyear – a band whose infamous live shows saw them chucked off tour with Jackass' Steve-O for being too wild and banned from Reading & Leeds for crashing Ice-T's set dressed as a pantomime horse (yes, really). It seems fitting then that this riotous, double-dry-hopped scamp dishes up a full-bodied, hop-forward lager hit. Elsewhere, big, brassy notes shine through courtesy of the exciting and experimental HBC431 hop, while chinook and mosaic serve up heaps of floral, fruity, spicy and citrusy flavours. A suitably larger-than-life lager for one of the UK's most characterful bands.
