An IPA, of course. We’re blending our two approaches to the IPA in this East Meets West IPA. Sierra Nevada’s malt body and profile was blended with the heavy-handed, very late hopping schedule employed by Tree House to create a new, hybrid IPA. Lightly bitter and heavy with citrus-like hop flavor.

Taps clear golden with a nice eggshell head that leaves good lacing. Aroma presents tangy, resiny hops plus citrus and malt hints. Flavor is mainly hoppy, a little malt, a little grapefruit. Mouthfeel delivers OK body and pleasing fizz. East meets West, and they drink together.

This has a good all-around balance. Seems more than only 40 IBU. Has a medium hazy orangee appearance. Features that tropical IPA flavor with a West-Coast feel. Was also the only pint (and can) in this year's Beer Camp. A buddy brought a single of something similar to this from 8-Track Brewery in the Sacramento area.
