You don’t need a magic mirror to see the lure of this beer. It’s brewed with seven varieties of experimental dwarf hops. These hops are so called because of their uncommon growing method—shorter hedgerows rather than tall trellis systems—that yields a denser heap of cones with unique flavors that diverge from their full-grown botanical counterparts. Each year new and different varieties are grown in this method, creating untried and exciting shifts in hop character.

Cloudy yellow/straw color. White head with a unique looking texture. Citrus and grass notes. Didn't enjoy the flavor of this beer. Very little hop flavor.

Pours a hazy golden with a decent eggshell head. Aroma is hoppy with a fruity undertone. Hoppy flavor is fairly bitter, but no to you will exercise facial muscles you never knew you had. Woody and fruity notes round out the palate. Texture is fizzy and firm, leaving a woody hop finish. Hi ho, hi ho, it’s off to the bar we go!

Expected a little more from this new 4-way IPA mixpack. Leans more towards a white ale vs. IPA. The hops are there, but I am tasting the lemon/coriander and the characteristics of a Belgian White. Kind of like Sammy Adams winter or summer ale, or their coastal wheat. Seems a little macro, but that's sort of what these heavily distributed beers are becoming. Really wanted to try these, but barely worth it. Will probably just stick with Torpedo as far as their IPAs go.

My favorite newb in the SN mixer. I was underwhelmed by the black ipa...it was good, but they've made 2 better in the same style. Nooner kinda sucked. This one is pretty solid...not GREAT, but more along the lines of what I expected from them all. Citrus and coriander. Better hopping than the black ipa and a little more lively.

12 oz bottle. Pours hazy yellow orange with a big creamy white head that retains well and laces the glass some.
The aroma is sweet bready malts, coriander and some earthy yeast and hops.
The flavor is sweet bready malts, a little fruit and coriander, earthy yeast and a good sized grassy bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with soft carbonation.
Overall, interesting white IPA - good bitterness but a kind of odd mix of earthiness, coriander, bready malts and grassy hops. -

Pours a hazy light caramel amber with a half finger pure white head with great retention and lots of lacing. Aroma of wheat, coriander, light citrus. Flavor is an interesting combination of wheat and coriander with light citrus and piney hops. Finishes with light lemon and grapefruit hops. Medium bodied with nice peppery carbonation. An off beat and tasty IPA/ witbier, enjoyable.
