GOLDEN IPA A gilded homage to Cascade hops. We’ve always had a passion for hops, but in today’s hop-heavy beer landscape it’s easy to forget where that passion came from. In the early days, one variety changed everything—the Cascade hop. It captured us then, and the flavor is still gripping: floral and grassy with a pronounced resinous pine and grapefruit aroma. Our Golden IPA pays homage to the mighty Cascade and wonderful world of hop flavor it inspired. There is some good and clean flavor here, just seems like it could be a little stronger or more of. Semi-watered down with a near-session IPA feel. Thinking with the mass distribution of the 4-way IPAs, these are becoming almost macro at this point. Enjoyable and very drinkable for this time of the year...just not quite feeling the old "craft" versions of Sierra any more (most of the time).

12 oz bottle. Pours slightly hazy yellow gold with a medium meringue white head that retains well and laces the glass some.
The aroma is soapy malts with fruit and piney peppery hops.
The flavor is light creamy biscuit malt with tangy fruit and a grassy bitter finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and a bit watery.
Overall, an OK IPA, not my mix of flavors.
