I base this review on the tap version rather than from the bottle, which was too sweet but still pleasant. Sampled on tap, it's a handsome deep amber in the pint glass. Pleasant floral aroma, but not too sweet on the palate. Has a nice little hops kick. A very pleasant brew to quaff in the Sacramento mountains of New Mexico.

Medium orange amber color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is big biscuty malts and brown sugar. A medium bodied American Pale Ale. Malts are fruity, caramel and sweet. Hops are piney and herbal. Lots of earthy flavors. Kind of not to style for a APA, it peaty and malty more like a scottish ale. Still a nice beer and the malts shine out. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
