Sometimes we all just need a Getaway. This medium bodied, IPA is packed with a bright, aromatic, citrusy nose. Leading with a hoppy bite of resinous pine and balance earthy finish.

Tall can from LCBO. Pours a fairly big frothy white head and has a pale golden appearance. Big soapy lacing. Moderate carbonation. Aromas of floral and grassy hops. Some subtle yeasty notes. Flavours are mostly citrusy, grassy and piney. A little bit of yeast as well. A bit dry in the finish. Not too bad.

Pours a clean golden-yellow colour with a big frothy-creamy warm cap, good retention and some foamy-creamy lace. Fresh hoppy nose with grassy notes, but then, some Belgian ale yeast sweetness comes out with fruity hints. The taste is hoppy as well, but not too bitter. Some nice dryness, but smooth all around. This is quite the easy-drinking IPA and I can see they they call it Gateway. Very nice !
