What a label. 12 oz twist off cap. I was waiting awhile to taste this. Clean city water aroma, perhaps a bit metallic. Taste is lagerlike with a metallic hint. Good palate, nice carbonation. Finish is not offensive but has a bit of lingering alcohol. A little rough for a hefe. Rates there with Penn Weizen.

Bottle: Poured a murky orange with white head. Aroma is wheat. Taste is wheat, but not hefe like.

12oz bottle pours hazy gold with copper hues and weak loose white head. The aroma is yeasty spice, a touch of acidity, mild graininess and hints of fruity esters. The taste begins with yeasty spice and a dash of acidity followed quickly by light skin colored fruitiness. By midway a touch of graininess is noticed before hints of banana and wheat well up.

Poured a hazy orange/gold color with a nice white head that hung on for awhile leaving some stringy lacing behind. Yeasty, bready nose. Light bodied, kinda creamy mouthfeel. Citrusy fruity with some spices backing them up. Finish is medium dry. Not bad for an american wheat. Cool label.

Sunshine gold in a glass, head is white, and short-lived. Aroma is on style with banana, bubble gum, and spice. Taste is on point as well, starts off sweet and stays there. Not the worst hefeweizen out there.

Cloudy unfiltered orange color with small white foam head. Aroma is malty with citrus and orange. Taste is orange, no beer taste actually. Bit prickling, high carbonation. Short aftertaste. (Houston 201301)

Really didn't care for this. Not quite a hefe, but not an American wheat either. A bit of a muddled mess. Sweet with a lemony bitterness that does not complement the beer because the traditional banana clove aspects are missing. Don't get the higher scores...didn't wanna finish the bottle.

Pours a cloudy golden color. Smell is very mild, some lemon after several deep whiffs. Taste is also very mild, a touch of lemon and wheat. Overall nothing offensive almost like a wheat beer light.

pours a cloudy dark golden yellow, with a little head that quickly disappears. Has a nice fruity aroma with just a touch of wheat. The beer had a nice wheat taste with just a hint of fruit finish. A good beer on a hot day.

Thanks to my parents for bringing this one back from the States. Big foamy white head that stays a long, long time, and creates patchy lacing. Hazy golden-beige colour with decent carbonation. Mild aromas and taste of wheat malt with a touch of citrus. An overall refreshing hefeweizen, but lacking the punch that are found in German ones.
