Here at the little brewery in Shiner, we’re happy to serve up our latest anniversary brew, Shiner 102. With a special recipe that sits between a bright wheat beer and wheat wine ale, this smooth, filtered, double wheat ale pours a pale straw color with hints of sweetness. And the aromatic Czech Saaz and Washington Golding Hops and the crisp character of malted wheat are sure to refresh your senses. Prosit!

poured an excellent golden color with a nice head that quickly disappeared. Has a excellent aroma of honey, yeast, citrus, and mild spices. The taste is quite nice with a slightly sweet wheat taste and a hnit of malts and a little honey. This is one of their best.

Is there wheat in this beer? I'm not sure they hit a single let alone a double, was expecting something good here, dissappointed. A decent looking beer but the aroma is stale and grassy, flavor is like a macro pilsner, not good.

Poured a light golden color with a two finger head that disappeared slowly a into a light white ring. Smelled a grass with a little honey. Had a heavy wheat taste. Flavor was simple with no aftertaste

It pours a light golden with a thick white head and some lacing. An aroma of wheat malts, light hops, citrus, and mild spices. The mouthfeel is smooth and rich. Flavors of wheat malts, light hops, citrus, bread and yeast, and light spices. Good!

A crystal sunshine-yellow colored beer with a big creamy textured, white head rising prominently above. There’s some hang time. A thin soapy ringlet eventually settles in with thin, ghostly splotches of film. A light, crisp body with effervescent bubbles tickling the tongue. The nost is bread, banana and bubblegum. The tasting more wheat and bread. This one is drinkable. WOW factor? Not quite.

First of MANY beers from Suds McDuff in a huge trade: pours a beautiful clear yellow gold with a slight initial head which disappears rapidly leaving just a smidgen of lacing. Looks a lot like apple juice. Sweet wet wheat aroma with some honey and a little bit of lemongrass. Taste is nice slight sweet wheat and malts with again some honey and a very slight bit of citrus zing. Surprisingly nice beer from Shiner - thanks Suds.

A double wheat from shiner? Mid yellow body with little carbonation and the head disappeared quickly, mouthfeel is full and slightly stickey, but smooth. Aromas and flavors of honey and hay, pretty heavy for a shiner brew, not too shabby.

.bought a couple of singles at Kroger, drank at 6:30pm - 1/22/2011 .. ..Pours out a pale yellow gold, decent head on the pour but dies down to just a white ring, very light lacing .. Light honey, hay, and the usual shiner yeast aromas.. Flavour is fairly simple, similar to the nose.. but what makes this drinkable- its alot cleaner than most Shiner beers.. Not bad and one of the better Shiner anniversary brews.. ...You keep on using this word "jabroni" and... it's awesome.
