It pours a dark burnt-orange/red/brown with a thin light-tan head and some lacing. An aroma or sweet malts, orange, tea leaves, some yeast and mild spices. The mouthfeel is smooth and rich. Flavors of caramel malts, hops, citrus, bread and yeast, tea leaves, bitters, and light spices. Good!

What a surprising (albeit probably accidental) find. I'm not sure if this was a "bad" bottle but it tasted a lot more like a Belgian quad (think Rochefort) than an English pale ale. Plenty of plum and raisin notes, muted hop bitterness and yeast present along with a touch of sourness. Definitely not a standard english pale ale.

A murky brown appearance with little head. The flavor is a bit sweet some caramel and sweet potatoes. Not very complex at all. Gotta go against the grain and say this beer blows!

Poured from a bottle with decent head and a malty nose to it. The taste was nice and malty just like you would want in a ale. This beer gets better as it warms just a bit. Nice ale for sure.

This was one of those beers that I spotted at the package store and bought despite having never heard of it. I like seeing craft beer starting to come in cans, and debunking the 'beer from cans tastes likes metal' myth. Poured a dark amber with generous head and great retention. Aroma was sweet and citrussy, with a musty earthy aroma as well. Flavor was a bit thin, but pleasing overall. Started off with sweet caramel, a bit nutty, and finished fruity, floral, and mildly bitter. A fine APA, if I lived within distribution, it could easily become my regular session beer.
