Tasted at the 5th Annual Bistro 2XIPA Fest. Light orange gold color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is malty, touch of bourbon (?) and sweet. A medium bodied Imperial IPA. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are grapefruity and floral. A medium bitter Imperial IPA. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is slightly bitter.

A very nice double IPA (or Imperial, how ever you prefer). A very warming, full bodied double IPA. Notes of bourbon, hops (of course)and sweetness come thru in the aroma. Very bitter on the palate, but not so much where it's unbalanced. Very drinkable, very good. Has an oily, resinous part to it.
