A northwest-style IPA uses a blend of hops from Yakima to give it a big, juicy, tropical, citrus flavor. The light caramel and soft bready malts balance but don't interfere with the big hop character. It finishes dry leaving you ready for more.

Bomber from Haggen/Meridian. Clear pour, medium copper, became cloudy towards the end of the bottle. Fluffy white head, and a bit of a ring resulted. Aroma was mainly pine and citrus. Flavour was similar to the nose. Good enough mouthfeel. Tart finish. Standard Northwest IPA, and that is not a bad thing.
