Pours clear topaz with a thick and fairly persistent eggshell head. Aroma provides crisp fresh malt and tangy, sweet apple. Flavor offers fresh malt, tangy crisp apple, resiny hops. Texture yields fair body and perky fizz. Prost - why not?

Pours transparent yellow with little to no head. Some lacing. Aroma is skunked. Flavor is crisp and fresh. This probably isn't fair of me as I'm not much of a lager fan. Definitely better than most American swills, but that's still not saying too much.

Although this brewery gets quite a bit of play for being "the one who saved Samichlaus from the chopping block", I think it'd be a disservice to discount this brewery's more pedestrian offerings (compartively speaking). I've had this offering both draught, and now bottled, and I think it's a very tasty Pilsener.
Yeah yeah, it's got a green bottle. Big frickin' deal. Any liquor store dealer worth his/her salt would keep this under wraps. But if you do have some doubts at to how this was stored and displayed (i.e. light exposure to the bottle), choose wisely grasshopper....
But seriously? This is not the most complex pils out there, but it's very clean and refreshing, with all of it's ducks in a row. More going on in the backend than you might imagine, since it all evens out and appeals, without getting bogged down in tedious sematics.
Nicely put together. Where was this bier, when I was wandering around Salzburg looking for something better than Kaiser and Zipfer? ;^)
Recommended.

Yellow, white medium bubbly head. Clean but a bit weak grassy and hoppy aroma. Hoppy grassy flavour with sourish notes. Quick finish with some metallic notes. Quite boring.

Bottle: Poured a golden color pils with a nice foamy pure white head with good retention. Aroma is slightly skunky which is not surprising considering the fact that it came in a green bottle and the brewery is probably 4000km away. Taste is also skunky (but not enough to covered the whole taste) with a nice hops finish. This is probably ten time better when pick-up fresh at the brewery and It is just a shame that they export this in green bottle.

Yellow colour, mediumsized white head. Hops and weak vegetables in aroma. Flavour is also mainly hoppy and grown in the finish. Hoppy hayish aftertaste with some sweetish hints. Wellbalanced, and quite nice. Indeed name is ok compared to product.

A decent pilsener, one that I was pleasantly surprised to find sitting in my local bottle shop. One would normally not find a pilsener at this time of year ( I would expect), but this’ll do! Pours light and golden, lot’s of bubbles. Very cheery! Flavor is sweet, yet somewhat grassy, overall a pleasant surprise.

Pours lively from the bottle with a nice, firm head.Color of golden sunshine. Nice lacing tracks the sides of the glass. Slightly pungent aroma. Complex, smooth, and satisfying flavor. Full-bodied palette yields to a clean and satisfying finish. I'm not a lager fan, but this one is worth the extra expense for those occasions when only a lager will do.

Nice golden straw colour with medium carbonation. The small head quickly disappears, but good lacing is left. It has a slight skunky smell, but nothing like STELLA ARTOIS. This pilsner has a very smooth mouthfeel and a dry aftertaste. Sweet malt taste. Overall, quite refreshing.

Bright gold color and nice white head and generous lace. Clean and crisp as its 106F today, summer not over in Arizona, so this beer is quite welcome. Malt start, fine carbonation, nice hop presence, and a fine pilsner.
